About The Sandbox

Sandbox (SAND) is a utility token of the Sandbox decentralized platform, allowing members to monetize their gaming experience. Token holders can vote on decisions made in the ecosystem. The platform cooperates with such projects as Atari, Crypto Kitties and aims to unite the blockchain with the games industry.

SAND is ERC-20 token operating on the Ethereum blockchain and performing the following functions in the system such as:

  • access to work with the platform;
  • staking, as SAND allows you to receive passive income;
  • management, as the holders make management decisions using the DAO structure;
  • 5% of the total volume of transactions carried out in SAND is divided equally between the staking pool and the company's Fund.

The fund is needed to support the ecosystem, to give grants to the creators of the best games on the platform, thereby encouraging and stimulating them. At the moment, 15 projects have already been funded.
