SimpleSwap Alternatives: 5 Swap Services Compared (2026)

SimpleSwap Alternatives: 5 Swap Services Compared on the Godex blog
Contents

Last updated: October 20, 2026 · Competitor facts checked October 20, 2026 · Published on the Godex blog. Godex is our own service; every other service is described from its own website and Terms.

The main SimpleSwap alternatives for no-account crypto swaps are Godex, StealthEX, ChangeHero, Exolix and FixedFloat. SimpleSwap itself lists the most coins, at 2,800+. People usually compare for other reasons: how long a fixed rate holds, how limits work on larger fixed-rate swaps, and whether the service is available where they live. This guide compares all six in one dated table and shows the Godex swap form step by step.

Key takeaways

  • Five alternatives are compared: Godex, StealthEX, ChangeHero, Exolix and FixedFloat. SimpleSwap keeps the widest list (2,800+), iOS and Android apps and a loyalty program.
  • Fixed-rate windows differ. SimpleSwap locks a fixed rate for 20 minutes. Godex holds one if the deposit is confirmed within 30 minutes, Exolix's Terms say 60, and ChangeHero's homepage 15.
  • Larger swaps: Godex sets no upper volume limit in either rate mode. SimpleSwap's FAQ says it sets no strict upper limit for floating-rate swaps, while fixed-rate availability depends on the pair.
  • Check the day you swap. Coin lists, limits, Terms and country restrictions change. Five of these six services updated their Terms in 2026.

Why People Look for a SimpleSwap Alternative

SimpleSwap has operated since 2018 and describes itself as a self-custodial swap aggregator drawing on 20+ centralized and decentralized providers. It lists 2,800+ cryptocurrencies, says sign-up is not required for most swaps, and offers iOS and Android apps, 24/7 live chat and a loyalty program with fee discounts and USDT cashback for account holders. For coverage, it's hard to beat.

People compare alternatives for reasons that have little to do with coverage:

  • A longer fixed-rate window. SimpleSwap's fixed rate holds for 20 minutes, and the deposit needs at least one confirmation in that time. Godex's window is 30 minutes and Exolix's 60.
  • Larger fixed-rate swaps. SimpleSwap's FAQ says fixed-rate availability depends on the pair, liquidity and market conditions. Users moving large amounts at a locked rate compare published limits.
  • No account for any feature. SimpleSwap's loyalty discounts and cashback require a customer account. Some users prefer services where nothing is tied to an account.
  • A second service for redundancy. Any pair can be paused for a network upgrade.
  • Availability where you live. SimpleSwap's Terms (§4.3) say its services may not be available in some locations; the list includes the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. Every service, Godex included, restricts some jurisdictions, so check the list for your country.

How We Compared Them

We compared six things for each service: whether you need an account to swap, the asset count the service publishes, the rate modes, its stated upper limit, the verification clause in its Terms or AML policy, and the year it started. Every competitor figure comes from that service's own homepage, About page, FAQ or Terms, checked on October 20, 2026, with an archived copy listed in the Sources section. We didn't make test swaps on any service. Godex is listed first because this is the Godex blog; the other services aren't ranked.

The Best SimpleSwap Alternatives in 2026

1. Godex: a 30-minute fixed rate and no upper limit in either mode

Godex.io is an instant cryptocurrency exchange operating since 2017. It lists 960+ coins, needs no account or registration to create a swap, offers fixed-rate and floating-rate modes, sets no upper volume limit, and typically completes a swap 5–30 minutes after the deposit is received.

For a SimpleSwap user, the differences are the fixed rate and larger swaps. Godex's order form states the rule plainly: the rate stays fixed if the deposit is confirmed within 30 minutes. The upper-limit position is the same whether you choose fixed or floating: there isn't one. Nothing is tied to an account. Email is optional, and there's no loyalty tier to qualify for. Godex lists fewer coins than SimpleSwap, but its 960+ include privacy coins such as Monero (LTC to XMR).

Limits worth knowing:

  • Godex's AML/KYC Policy is risk-based, so checks may apply to a transaction assessed as high-risk. Its Terms allow it to refuse or postpone such a transaction.
  • The fixed rate includes a spread, so Godex isn't the cheapest quote on every pair. Compare on the day.
  • If the market moves 3% or more before the deposit arrives, the Terms allow extra processing time or a refund instead of the fixed amount.
  • It has an Android app only and no card on-ramp.
  • It isn't available in some jurisdictions listed in its AML/KYC Policy.

Choose Godex if you want a 30-minute fixed rate, no upper limit in either rate mode, and a swap with no account or loyalty tier attached.

2. StealthEX: 2,000+ coins and no stated upper limit

StealthEX says 2,000+ coins and tokens are available, the closest list to SimpleSwap's in this comparison. It needs no registration or account, offers fixed-rate swaps for an exact amount alongside the standard estimated-amount flow, and its About page says it has no upper limits, needing only enough to cover network fees. Its FAQ gives a typical processing time of 5 to 30 minutes.

StealthEX's Terms, updated July 2026, describe "a risk-based approach to verification". Its FAQ says verification is needed in rare cases, such as a blacklisted wallet or a transaction considered suspicious. Card purchases go through Mercuryo, Simplex and Guardarian.

Good to know: Android app · 24/7 live chat · fiat purchases through partners.

Choose StealthEX if you want a list nearly as broad as SimpleSwap's.

3. ChangeHero: aggregated rates and a five-minute average

ChangeHero was founded in 2017 and says it aggregates rates from 10+ centralized and decentralized exchanges. Its homepage lists 350+ crypto assets for swaps and 150+ for fiat purchases. It says swaps need no registration or account, and that transactions finish within about five minutes on average. It offers a floating rate or a fixed rate locked for 15 minutes (its homepage figure), and states "no hard limit on the maximum swap amount".

ChangeHero's Terms (updated March 2026) say it may apply its AML/KYC procedure to specific users, addresses and transactions, and its FAQ calls this a risk-based policy. Fiat purchases run through Mercuryo and FinchPay.

Good to know: wallet integrations listed include Exodus, Trezor, Tangem and CoolWallet · 24/7 support.

Choose ChangeHero if you swap mainstream pairs and want an aggregated quote and a fast average.

4. Exolix: a 60-minute fixed-rate lock

Exolix describes itself as a cross-chain swap aggregator with fixed and floating rates and no registration. It launched in 2018 and shows 500+ cryptocurrencies on its homepage. Its Terms guarantee the fixed rate for 60 minutes from when the transaction is created, three times SimpleSwap's 20 minutes. Its FAQ gives a usual processing time of 5 to 30 minutes.

Its About page says "We do not have a maximum limit". The swap widget still shows a minimum and maximum for each pair, so check the widget for the pair you need. Exolix's AML/KYC Policy (updated July 2026) describes a risk-based compliance review, and notes that third-party providers it routes through may run their own checks.

Good to know: Android app · 24/7 support · optional account.

Choose Exolix if you like SimpleSwap's aggregator model but want the longest fixed-rate window.

5. FixedFloat: stated fee levels, fixed or float

FixedFloat launched in 2018. Its Terms say an exchange needs no registration, login or personal data. It publishes its fee levels (1% for fixed rate, 0.5% for float rate, plus the network fee) and shows the minimum and maximum for each pair on its main page. A fixed-rate order must be funded within 10 minutes.

FixedFloat's Terms (updated October 2, 2026) say an order may be suspended to ask about the origin of funds in specific cases, and that identity verification may be requested in exceptional situations. The operator is FFGX Group LLC, organised under the laws of Georgia.

Good to know: 24/7 support by live chat, email and Telegram · Telegram bot · no published total coin count.

Choose FixedFloat if you want the fee percentage stated before you start and you swap mainstream pairs.

How a Godex Swap Works, Step by Step

A Godex swap needs no account and takes four steps. Floating rate is the default; switching to fixed rate locks the quoted amount, as long as the deposit is confirmed within 30 minutes.

  1. Choose the pair and amount. The estimate updates live as you type.

  2. Pick fixed or floating rate. The order form shows each stage (Details, Waiting for Deposit, Confirmation, Exchanging, Completed) and which network to send on. Fixed rate holds the quote if the deposit is confirmed within 30 minutes.

  3. Add your receiving address. Email is optional, and there's no account to create. By clicking Exchange you accept Godex's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and AML/KYC Policy.

  4. Send the deposit. Godex then shows a one-time deposit address and the exact amount to send. The swap typically completes 5–30 minutes after the deposit is received.

What to Check Before Your First Swap on Any Service

  • The restricted-locations list. Every service publishes one. SimpleSwap's is in its Terms §4.3, Godex's in its AML/KYC Policy.
  • The verification clause. Read what each service's Terms say about when it may ask for information, including Godex's.
  • The fixed-rate window and limits. On a slow chain or a large amount, check how long the rate holds and whether a fixed-rate maximum applies.
  • The refund rules. Check what happens if a deposit arrives late or the rate moves.
  • Memo or tag fields. Coins such as XRP or XLM need one.
  • A small first swap. Run a small one on the same pair before a large amount.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good alternative to SimpleSwap?

It depends on why you're switching. For a 30-minute fixed rate and no upper limit in either rate mode, Godex fits. For a list close to SimpleSwap's in breadth, StealthEX has 2,000+ coins and tokens. Exolix offers a 60-minute fixed-rate lock, ChangeHero aggregates rates from 10+ venues, and FixedFloat publishes its fee levels.

Is SimpleSwap available in my country?

Check its Terms. SimpleSwap's Terms of Service (in force since September 7, 2026, §4.3) say its services may not be available in a list of restricted locations. The list includes the UK and EU member states such as Germany and the Netherlands, and it is described as non-exhaustive. Every service in this guide has its own list, so check the one for the service you plan to use.

Does SimpleSwap require KYC?

SimpleSwap says most crypto-to-crypto swaps don't need an account, and its FAQ says it may request KYC or additional information in certain cases. Its AML/KYC Policy (October 2025) reserves the right to require checks on any transaction. Godex likewise needs no account to create a swap, and its own AML/KYC Policy is risk-based.

How long does a fixed rate hold on SimpleSwap compared with Godex?

SimpleSwap's Terms say a fixed rate remains unchanged for 20 minutes, and the deposit needs at least one confirmation in that window. Godex holds a fixed quote if the deposit is confirmed within 30 minutes. Exolix's Terms say 60 minutes. A late deposit is refunded or re-quoted according to each service's Terms.

Does Godex have an upper limit on fixed-rate swaps?

No. Godex sets no upper volume limit in either fixed or floating mode. Large swaps go through the same form and typically complete 5–30 minutes after the deposit is received. If the market moves 3% or more before the deposit lands, Godex's Terms allow extra time or a refund. Send a small first swap before a large one.

Is Godex cheaper than SimpleSwap?

Not necessarily. Godex's fixed rate includes a spread that covers rate movement during the swap. SimpleSwap uses a dynamic all-in rate that it says may start from 0.2% for some assets. On small swaps of major pairs, another service may quote more coins. Compare the final quoted amount on the day.
